NJMH and Dear Mama Coffee Presents: Shirazette’s Groove Chakras – Pride Celebration

Shirazette’s Groove Chakras is a funky queer band comprised of all the colors and identities of the rainbow. This group redesigns music, poetry and sonics from queer artists and allies of the LGBTQI…community into a queer celebratory explosion.

Tinnin’s concept of creating this band stems from her growing up queer in the south in North Carolina. Her experiences of having an older transgender sibling and what that was like will be one of the stories told throughout the music. Tinnin’s early coming out story and how it influences her personal way of navigating the world will be heard and felt through the light.

Shirazette and Groove Chakras band will make you go into a meditational trance. Immersing your spirit into a rhythmic pulse that will allow you to release all things gay (happy)

Come celebrate the last day of Pride Month with Shirazette’s Groove Chakra Funky Queer Band.
