Volunteers at the National Jazz Museum in Harlem play a vital role in the daily operations of the museum.
As an Volunteer, you will receive guaranteed seating at all our live music events, lectures, and film screenings with behind the scenes access into the museum world. You will have the opportunity to facilitate meaningful experiences in the gallery space and during live performances by engaging with visitors, encourage donations, and provide information on current exhibitions. We are always seeking passionate volunteers to help us carry out our mission of preserving, promote and present jazz by inspiring knowledge, appreciation and the celebration of jazz locally, nationally and internationally.
