Afro-Latin Roots Talk: Examining the Afro-Latin Music Continuum

This event is curated by Zach O’Farrill and is part of our annual Celebrating the Afro-Latin Roots of Jazz programming that takes place each August.

This panel discussion led by Zack O’Farrill will feature young musicians that are on the front edge of the Afro-Latin musical evolution. They will discuss how they draw upon the tradition in the creation of their own vision of contemporary improvised music.
