Legendary jazz clarinetist and tenor saxophonist Ken Peplowski will present a one-day concert at the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center, celebrating the spirit and rich history of jazz. In partnership with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, Peplowski will bring together a talented lineup of local and national musicians; artists include Randy Brecker, Ada Rovatti, Ehud Asherie, Peter Washington, Willie Jones III, Rossano Sportiello, Bruce Harris, Mariel Bildstein, and Brianna Thomas. Performers will honor the timeless brilliance of legendary artists with sets featuring Brazilian jazz, music from the swing and big band era, contemporary jazz, and music by Louis Armstrong and Benny Goodman. Food trucks will be on site with food for purchase.
