NJMH Presents: People of Earth

Catch People of Earth live at Barbès in Brooklyn on Saturday, June 29th at 10pm! This big band powerhouse brings the fire with irresistible timba grooves, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, and global dancefloor energy. Come ready to move – this is music that demands you dance.

About the Artist:

People of Earth is a dynamic, genre-bending band that blends salsa, timber, and Cuban dance music with global rhythms and a contemporary edge. Based in New York City, the group features an all-star lineup of musicians from across the Americas and the Caribbean. Their performances are high-energy, joyful celebrations that invite everyone to the dance floor – no passport required. People of Earth is directed by percussionist Gabriel Globus-Hoenich, and features Victor Pablo on percussion, Arthur Torres on sax & keyboard, Raul Rios on voice & trumpet, Hilaria Despagna on voice & trombone, Alberto Miranda on bass, Ahmed Alom on piano, and Ivan Llanes on vocals.
