Live from Harlem – JFA Presents: Patience Higgins Quintet

Saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Patience Higgins is a fixture in the NYC jazz community, well known for his work in a variety of settings from small groups to Broadway to section work with artists including Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Paquito D’Rivera, Sam and Dave, and the orchestras of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, and Frank Foster. His long-running Sugar Hill Quartet held regular stints at the Lenox Lounge and St. Nick’s Pub, and still swings hard.

This event is free and open to the public!
