Live from Harlem – JFA Presents: Camille Gainer-Jones featuring the Immortals

Native New Yorker Camille Gainer Jones has had a rich career marked by artistic ability and versatility. She began playing drums, as well as guitar, violin and piano, at the age of 11, then went on to study with master drummers Michael Carvin and Keith Copeland. A top-notch musician as well as producer, she has worked with such artists as Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith, Roberta Flack, Jean Carn, Greg Osby, Chuck Mangione, Marc Cary, Christian McBride, Sugar Minott, M.C. Shan and the Juice Crew All-Stars (of which she was the Musical Director), Monifah, Heavy D, Angela Bofill, Weldon Irvine, Joan Jett, Onaje Allen Gumbs, Kelis, and Kandace Springs.
