Community Showcase: Max Bessesen Presents: “Feet Don’t Change”

“Feet Don’t Change” is an extended jazz work for octet that draws influence from 20th and 21st Century European classical and Ghanaian traditional music. Far from depicting something exotic, this project gets to the heart of the music that has inspired Max for his entire life. It is intended to provide audiences a joyful listening experience that celebrates what we have in common during a period fraught with division.
