Live from Harlem – JFA Presents: The Phil Young Experience

Phil Young is the drummer, bandleader and founder of “Gathering of the Harlem Hip,” which has been chronicled in The New Yorker, and “Phil’s House of Blues” — two recent, cherished residencies. A much-loved figure in the uptown community, Young has played with legendary figures like Bobby “Blue” Bland, Jimi Hendrix, George Benson, Wild Bill Davis, Art Farmer and Dizzy Gillespie.

This event will stream on the Jazz Foundation and Jazz Museum Facebook pages and the Museum YouTube Channel.
