Christopher McBride & The Whole Proof:
Christopher McBride & The Whole Proof is a sonic experience that explores the African American musical landscape. The Whole Proof presents original compositions written by Christopher McBride and by with other members of the band, along with a small mix of standards and covers. The original compositions written by McBride fit his listening ear when it comes to music: a wide variety of genres. Multiple styles are infused throughout the music: influences include the African diaspora, R&B, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Latin Music and soul. And throughout all, there is a strong rooting in ‘straight-ahead’ swing that keeps listeners dancing in and out of their seats.
