Ray Carman Day 2024

Ray Carman was a giant man, literally and figuratively. When he wasn’t busy leading The Duke Ellington Society, he and his wife Marlene devoted hundreds of hours to greeting and educating visitors to the NJMH for many years.

Join us for our annual celebration of Ray and his love for Duke Ellington and the Duke Ellington Society.

This event will feature a presentation with NJMH Senior Scholar Loren Schoenberg, conversations with friends of Ray, and live music by the Tyler Bullock Trio.
