Mutual Mentorship for Musicians (M³): 3rd Cohort World Premieres Pt. 2

The National Jazz Museum in Harlem and Mutual Mentorship for Musicians (M³) partner for a festival of world premieres of duo performances and conversations with M³’s 3rd Cohort, the Summer Solstice 2021 Cohort!

This event takes place on ZOOM. You must RSVP to receive ZOOM link. Link will be emailed to you after registration.

Join us in experiencing the 3rd Cohort’s six world premieres born from the new initiative Mutual Mentorship for Musicians (M³), a revolutionary model of mentorship launched in June 2020 at the height of the pandemic.

Hosted by renowned writer Kyla Marshell, each premiere will be followed by a Q&A with the audience about its creative process.

Created by co-founders Jen Shyu and Sara Serpa, M³ is a think tank for new ways to connect, collaborate, support, create, and empower women and non-binary musicians and those of other historically underrepresented gender identities in intersection with race, sexuality, or ability across generations in the US and worldwide.
