Live from Harlem: The Jazz Foundation Presents – Craig Holiday Haynes & Friends – In Tribute to Lady Day

Acclaimed drummer Craig Holiday Haynes pays tribute to his namesake, Billie Holiday, on her birthday. The son of drumming legend Roy Haynes, Craig was raised in Queens among jazz greats and has continued the tradition in his work with a wide variety of artists, including Sun Ra, Freddie Hubbard, Lionel Hampton, Geri Allen, Gladys Knight and Eddie Palmieri. This special band features the esteemed vocalist Marva King.

This event is virtual only and will stream on the Jazz Foundation and Jazz Museum Facebook pages and the Museum YouTube Channel.
