Rob Fulton grew up, breathing, eating and sleeping music. His earliest influences were his mother, Margaret Sharrock, who was a touring Gospel singer, and his uncle Eugene Cooper, an accomplished musician. It was their guidance and support that inspired Rob to become a musician. He started performing at an early age, first on guitar, then trombone in the marching band at the Glen Cove Middle School. Rob continued his musical journey when he and his family moved to Westbury L.I., where he became the trombonist and lead singer with the musical group, The Dynatones. After studying piano at S.U.N.Y. Old Westbury under Dr. Makanda Ken McIntyre, he further developed his musicality in studies with stellar musicians like Dr. Barry Harris, Janet Lawson, and Tulivu-Donna Cumberbatch. With ease, affability, and versatility, Rob’s brilliant performance style allows you to join him on life’s journey.
