Charlie Parker Jazz Festival Ancillary: Minton’s Playhouse Jam Session in Partnership with NJMH feat. NJMH House Band led by Tahira Clayton

The National Jazz Museum in Harlem House Band, led by Tahira Clayton, will host the after-party jam session at the historic Minton’s Playhouse. Minton’s was one of the musical laboratories for the 1940s bebop movement that was led by Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Charlie Christian, Kenny Clarke, Dizzy Gillespie, and others.
