Eric Person Quartet
Over his nearly forty years as a musician in New York, Eric Person has had the good fortune to perform with the vanguard of the jazz world, namely McCoy Tyner, Dave Holland, Wallace Roney, Vernon Reid, Ronald Shannon Jackson, and the World Saxophone Quartet. Eric’s signature sound on alto, soprano, tenor, saxophone and flute has been featured on over fifty CDs, from Chico Hamilton to Ben Harper to Bright Dog Red. His work as a leader–showcased on 11 releases–is stylistically diverse and intrepid, presenting solo works, music for jazz quartet, duo for sax/drum, an electric ensemble and big band.
