Join us for a pop-up concert on the corner of 129th street and Lenox avenue with the Aayushi Karnik Blues Trio. On your way, grab a coffee from our friends at Lenox Coffee, or a juice from our friends at Juicery Harlem.
After the music, stop by the museum (just down the street) and check out the exhibition SOUL: An American Adventure.
Aayushi Karnik is a 28 year old Guitar player/Singer-Songwriter, graduated from the Juilliard School with a degree in Jazz Guitar. She has an ambition to work not just as a jazz musician but as a blues guitar player and a singer songwriter. She has worked with musicians like Geoffrey Keezer, Christian McBride and Ron Blake and released a Blues/Rock record this year called ‘Troublemaker’ under a new label by David Chesky called Audiophile Society.
